Melissa Cicci is the founder of Beyond Doorways Travel. "After three years of sharing travel stories on our site, we have decided to take a leap and begin offering a small collection of travel wear, goods and accessories. I hope fellow travelers will enjoy the collection as much as we do."

Melissa holds a B.A. in Spanish and an M.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University, and spent several years working in the field of textile/apparel trade policy and negotiation. After a lifetime on the East Coast, Melissa now lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Jessica was born and raised in Scotland and has lived and worked on three continents - Africa, Europe and North America. She thinks of herself as "a walking kind of girl" and manages to combine her passion for walking, cooking and writing into interesting travel adventures. She has been a teacher for over 40 years and is presently an English tutor in the place she has called home for the last 30 years, beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jessica writes fondly of her idyll last summer in "Summer in St. Ives, Cornwall."

Nick Walton is an experienced travel journalist who has run travel and lifestyle magazines in Asia, New Zealand and Australia for over ten years, including a two-year stint as Travel Editor for the South China Morning Post. He loves to travel throughout Asia and beyond, but also loves coming back to his adopted home of Hong Kong. In this issue, Nick boards a small boat in the Indian Ocean for "Night Fishing in the Maldives".
